Since summer 2020 I am part of the selected designers in Germany who are invited to the design competitions of the Federal Ministry of Finance. My draft took first place in the competition on the theme "Vollversammlung des Ökumenischen Rates“ (General Assembly of the Ecumenical Council) and the stamp has been available in all Deutsche Post shops since 4th of august.

The design of the stamp takes up the symbol of ecumenism - the boat with the cross as a mast - and strings them together. The bright colors of the boats illustrate the diversity and stand for the General Assembly as an international event with participants from all continents. In addition to the stamp itself, I designed also two stamps for Berlin and Bonn, as well as the sheet of ten, which picks up on the colorful design of the stamp.
